As part of the UGC-mandated academic internships at various colleges, several students approached Tekvocation to gain practical exposure in the digital marketing domain. After a careful process of resume screening and interviews, two students were selected for a one-month internship, designed to help them bridge academic learning with real-world applications and understand how technology concepts are applied in a professional setting.

The Academic Interns explored key areas such as Marketing Research, Email Campaigning, and Competitor Research for Tekaxis, along with an Introduction to Data Analytics through Zoho Analytics. They also learned the basics of SEO and practical insights into SEO tools guided by the Tekvocation team.

After completing their internship, the students shared their feedback on the experience.

Spoorthi P 5th sem,BCA from Cauvery College described her internship as “a highly valuable and enriching experience,” highlighting that she gained hands-on skills in SEO optimization, data analytics, and targeted email campaigns. She also appreciated Tekvocation’s work culture, describing the organization as kind, disciplined, and supportive, which made her learning experience even more meaningful.

Kavya B G 5th sem,BCA from Cauvery College shared that her internship at Tekvocation was “a good experience,” where she acquired new knowledge and practical insights into digital tools. She found Zoho Campaigns particularly interesting due to its diverse features and its role in simplifying email marketing. Kavya also expressed her gratitude to the team for their guidance and continuous support throughout the internship.

The program is Tekvocation's ongoing effort to provide valuable learning opportunities and mentor young professionals as they take their first steps into the tech space.

Manoj N S, an intern at Tekvocation, and V. Hemanth Kumar, a software engineer at Edcite, recently visited Zoho’s Chennai campus. Their time with product engineers and exposure to large-scale software teams offered valuable insights into how quality, collaboration, and ownership function within a mature tech ecosystem. The experience broadened their perspective and deepened their understanding of what can be achieved when technical expertise is applied at scale in real-world settings.

2. Field Trips Meet Fieldwork

Interns Veda Karthik and Kavya recently visited Vipus Advanced Materials for a deep dive into the world of advanced manufacturing. Far from a surface-level tour, their visit offered a firsthand look at clean room operations, the practical application of ISO 9001:2015 standards, and how cutting-edge technology integrates seamlessly with real-world aerospace systems. More than photo ops, these are immersive, hands-on tech experiences that invite real exploration and understand how tech integrates with real industries like aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

3. Day at Vtiger CRM: Leadership, Learning, and Career Clarity

Arun Kumar R, Ashwija L A, Chandrashekar, Disha Crasta, Manoj Kumar N R, Manoj Kumar N S, Shashank Patil, and Smruthi Ranjan Pradhan have all had transformative experiences through industry visits and real-world engagement.

During a visit to Vtiger CRM in Bangalore, they spent the day learning from company leadership. Sreenivas Kanumuru, CEO, shared his journey and insights into building a customer-focused, innovation-led company. Prasad A, CTO, emphasized adaptability and long-term vision in shaping a tech career, while Vidya Devaraj, Manager – Billing and HR, offered practical advice on teamwork, company culture, and growth. The exposure to leadership, operations, and cross-functional dynamics made a lasting impact.

4. Multi-Track Specialization
