Reflection is like standing by a quiet pond—taking a moment to see where we started, how far we've come, and what lies ahead. Tekvocation’s Reflections event was just that—a space for interns to pause, share, and make sense of their journeys over the past three months.

With Founder Tony G Thomas and Director and Advisor Francis Joy present, the session was kept informal, allowing interns to open up about their experiences. It wasn’t about speeches or structured discussions but about honest conversations—what they learned, how they grew, and the challenges they navigated.
Varsha set the tone with a simple yet powerful quote: “We do not learn from experience; we learn from reflecting on experience.” From there, interns took turns sharing their thoughts, each adding to the collective experience of the room. Everyone had a story—some about personal growth, some about overcoming hurdles, and others about newfound confidence in their skills.
For instance, Shashank spoke about how discipline shaped his journey, comparing who he was before joining Tekvocation and who he is now. Niharika shared her experience of leaving home, adjusting to a new place, and the sense of achievement she felt when she won 'Best Intern' in her first month. These were just glimpses of the kind of reflections that filled the room—each voice adding depth to the bigger picture.
At the end, Tony shared his perspective on staying positive and building meaningful connections, introducing the idea of a reality distortion field—how optimism and determination can shape our challenges into opportunities. He encouraged everyone to tackle obstacles with the positive mindset, emphasizing that belief and effort shape success.
By the end of the session, everyone left with a renewed sense of purpose. 'Reflections' wasn’t just about looking back—it was about carrying those lessons forward, ready to take on what comes next.
