On November 19, 2024, we celebrated the 68th Kannada Rajyotsava with vibrant enthusiasm and deep cultural pride. The program began with Kavya delivering a warm and heartfelt introduction, setting the tone for the day’s events. The celebration was a wonderful mix of patriotism, cultural performances, and engaging activities that truly captured the essence of Kannada heritage.
Following this, a group of girls performed a melodious song that captivated the audience. Kavya then invited Diana Hombal to share her thoughts on this auspicious occasion.
The activities segment began with all participants being grouped together under different river names, symbolizing unity and diversity. The following activities were conducted:
- Savigana - Organized by Disha, Chandrashekhar, and Ahmed, this activity brought an interactive and creative element to the celebration.
- Tongue Twister Challenge - Led by Veda and Bhoomika, this activity sparked laughter and friendly competition among the participants.
- Quiz - Conducted by Niharika and Ashwija, the quiz tested the participants’ knowledge in an engaging and fun manner.
