Eyes play a key role in our day-to-day work, especially when most of our time is spent in front of computer screens. Sitting for nearly eight hours a day can lead to eye strain, discomfort, and long-term issues if left unchecked. Recognizing this need, an eye check-up camp was conducted at Tekvocation on May 9, 2025.

The camp was organized by Mr. Srinivasan Chakrapani, Relationship Manager from Nandhana Super Speciality Eye Care Pvt. Ltd., Mysuru. Tekvocation members interacted with the hospital team and asked questions about the importance of regular eye check-ups. The team explained how routine eye care is necessary for those working extensively on digital devices.
Following the briefing, the check-up process started. Each team member underwent an eye test conducted by the hospital staff. The tests were done efficiently, with each person receiving individual attention. After the screening, individuals received details about their eye condition, including whether any corrective lenses were needed. Those with pre-existing eye issues were also given suggestions for follow-up consultation.
Throughout the camp, the atmosphere was positive and cooperative. It gave the team an opportunity not only to check on their eye health but also to pause and reflect on the importance of personal well-being in a digital workspace.
The camp served as a helpful reminder for everyone to pay attention to their eye health and take timely steps if any issues are found. It was a simple yet practical initiative that benefited the entire team.
