The visit to Edcite focused on mutual knowledge exchange. We met Mr.Francis Joy , Mr.Jagadish Kumar ,Ms.Parinitha Mysore and Ms.Sowmya Panjaje.The Tekvocation team presented the Tekaxis website and discussed internal systems, while Edcite shared how they apply Zoho tools such as Zoho Desk, Zoho Sign and Zoho Projects in their workflow. This helped both sides understand practical tool usage and process flow.

At Vtiger, we sat down with Mr.Prasad and Ms.Vidya both of whom walked us through the early days of building their CRM product. They spoke about the challenges of entering a space already shaped by established players, and how identifying a distinct customer segment required both patience and strategic clarity. Through careful market analysis and an evolving understanding of product–market fit, they were able to carve out a niche for Vtiger.

Tekvocation gained collective wisdom through these visits, which provided clarity on operational standards, product thinking, customer-centric systems, and disciplined processes. This blend of personal connection and scientific grounding shaped YoBe’s identity and gave their marketing a tone rooted in authenticity and lived experience.

A defining strength of YoBe's marketing is the hands-on involvement of the founders. They oversee production, speak to retailers, create content, and shape campaign ideas, ensuring their personality remains central to the brand. Their clear understanding of the audience-individuals seeking mindful choices without giving up flavour-guides their communication across platforms. Tony G Thomas, Co-Founder of Zoho and Founder of Tekvocation, delivered the keynote address, focusing on the importance of preparing today’s youth for a rapidly changing tech landscape. He highlighted the growing influence of AI in industries, the need for adaptability, and the responsibility that comes with technological advancement. A video montage showcased Tekvocation’s impact, after which the new marketing division, TekAxis, was officially launched.

With his background in mechanical engineering and sustainability, Mr. Dinesh Bopanna saw potential in transforming single-use and multi-layered plastic waste and post consumer waste into durable construction materials. For a green-tech company like Jagruth Tech, marketing became a bridge between innovation and awareness for helping people recognize the environmental and economic value of sustainable alternatives. Through collaborations with government bodies and ULB(Urban Local Bodies), organizations like Namma Mysore Foundation (NMF), and digital storytelling, the company has built credibility and inspired shared responsibility toward a cleaner planet.

Sourcing consistent-quality waste was another challenge, addressed by partnering with local waste aggregators and municipal bodies to ensure a steady supply chain.

The Academic Interns explored key areas such as Marketing Research, Email Campaigning, and Competitor Research for Tekaxis, along with an Introduction to Data Analytics through Zoho Analytics. They also learned the basics of SEO and practical insights into SEO tools guided by the Tekvocation team.

After completing their internship, the students shared their feedback on the experience.

Spoorthi P 5th sem,BCA from Cauvery College described her internship as “a highly valuable and enriching experience,” highlighting that she gained hands-on skills in SEO optimization, data analytics, and targeted email campaigns. She also appreciated Tekvocation’s work culture, describing the organization as kind, disciplined, and supportive, which made her learning experience even more meaningful.

Kavya B G 5th sem,BCA from Cauvery College shared that her internship at Tekvocation was “a good experience,” where she acquired new knowledge and practical insights into digital tools. She found Zoho Campaigns particularly interesting due to its diverse features and its role in simplifying email marketing. Kavya also expressed her gratitude to the team for their guidance and continuous support throughout the internship.

The program is Tekvocation's ongoing effort to provide valuable learning opportunities and mentor young professionals as they take their first steps into the tech space.

During the discussion, Mr. Nishanth C P shared how Energy 24by7’s growth was propelled by an unexpected moment, a YouTube video by a small creator showcasing their product, which went viral and brought thousands of inquiries within weeks. While the surge tested their supply chain capacity, it also highlighted the power of authentic storytelling and educational marketing. He explained that complex products demand communication that informs rather than merely advertises, and that genuine demonstrations, explainer videos, and customer education can create deeper trust than traditional marketing. He also emphasized the importance of preparedness and aligning promotional efforts with operational readiness.

Mr. Nishanth C P provided valuable guidance to the young team of new marketing division of Tekvocation Pvt Ltd. on approaching clients for their marketing services and building long-term professional relationships. He encouraged researching a client’s business before meetings, identifying gaps, and presenting tailored solutions rather than generic pitches. His philosophy centered on “under-committing and over-delivering,” stressing that credibility grows through honesty and consistency. He further advised the team to make use of platforms like LinkedIn for outreach, maintain clear communication with decision-makers, and frame proposals around measurable outcomes. Rather than pushing for immediate sales, the focus should be on understanding the client’s needs and offering lasting value

The conversation also touched upon challenges such as rejection, negotiation, and client retention. Mr. Nishanth C P reminded the participants that setbacks are part of the process and that professionalism, empathy, and follow-through can turn criticism into opportunity. His anecdote of converting a dissatisfied customer into a brand advocate through personal attention illustrated the importance of responsiveness. He also noted that understanding market expectations from visual aesthetics to tone of communication plays a crucial role in connecting with diverse industries, whether in technology, education, or energy.
